May 19, 2012 -- Exploring Value in Art Quilting with Grace Errea
This workshop focuses on the important tools for creating inspirational botanicals, landscapes, and portraits. It provides an overview of color harmony, colory theory, the psychology of color and the expressive aspects of color and value. We will focus on using value to create a focal point, to set a mood in an art piece, to create 3-dimensionality or to give the perception of perspective in a landscape.
$30 -- Members $35 -- Non-Members BYOL
Unless otherwise noted, workshops are held at Memory Lane Quilt Shop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please arrive by 9:30 a.m. to get set up so we can start on time. To register, contact our Workshop chair.
